What We Learned at Halftime: Seahawks vs. Broncos

There are a lot of sayings that could fit well here for Seattle.

Defense wins championships. One team gets punched in the mouth. Either way you look at it, the Broncos' offense hasn't looked like the Broncos' offense that everyone is used to seeing. Seattle has imposed their will defensively allowing just a handful of big plays. Peyton Manning has looked rattled all game long. I take that back. Peyton Manning has looked like Eli Manning. So far, the 5-time NFL MVP has two interceptions against the Legion of Boom.

It just hasn't been a great half for Denver's offense. Luckily for the Broncos, there is a lot of football to be played. Then again, that might not be such a good thing considering how well the Seattle Seahawks defense is playing.

Guys like Kam Chancellor, Cliff Avril and Earl Thomas are thriving off of the big game energy. These Seahawks are right at home. Denver is going to have to get things shored up on the offensive line to give Peyton Manning some time. Well, there are a lot of things that Denver has to get shored up.

Meanwhile, Seattle's offense is doing well. Percy Harvin has been big keeping Denver's defense honest. Russell Wilson has been beyond comfortable today. If Denver wants to make this a ball game, something is going to have to change...fast.

This should be an interesting second half.
