The one thing that we, as basketball fans, have gotten accustomed to is bracing for what Craig Sager decided to wear on TV each time we know he's the sideline reporter.

Sometimes, it's good. Sometimes, it's not so good. All in all, the man had a way of grabbing your attention. Today, Sager has all of our attention and our prayers. According to multiple reports, the popular Sager has been diagnosed with leukemia. Sports Illustrated has reported that Sager's son, Craig Sager, Jr., announced on Twitter that his father's treatment is expected to take 3-4 weeks and the two would be “watching lots of basketball together these playoffs.”

The reactions on social media have poured in wishing the fashionably eccentric sideline reporter well...and I'm no different. Basketball on TV isn't the same without Sager. Although there are a lot of sideline reporters that do their job well, he's the one that stands out...figuratively and literally.

Get well, Sager!
